Bean and Goose Unveil The LGBTQ+ Bar

Bean and Goose have introduced a new limited-edition chocolate bar with Ireland’s iconic gay bar in Dublin, The George, to celebrate Pride Month and raise funds for Outhouse, a community and resource centre for LGBTQ+ people, their family and friends.

The LGBTQ+ Bar is “a creamy, buttery single origin white chocolate with lemon-infused blueberries and a riot of edible petals” - a perfectly colourful bar to celebrate Pride Month.

Bean and Goose, founded by sisters Karen and Natalie Keane, have teamed up with The George Dublin to create the chocolate bar. All profits from The LGBTQ+ Bar will be donated to Outhouse, an LGBTQ+ community and resource centre, to support the organisation and its work.

This is a limited-edition bar, we wanted it to be both delicious and fun. We decided on our single-origin white chocolate from Ecuador because it is a flavour we don’t often get to play with. It is creamy and buttery white chocolate and a perfect backdrop to the slightly floral taste of the blueberries. Lemon is a natural pairing to blueberry. We finish with a riot of colour in the form of our favourite edible petals from Elmgrove Flower Farm, bright yellow marigold, deep blue cornflower and rose.
