About Us

OUR VISION:

For Wexford to become the Model County through exceptional food and drink experiences while connecting locals, visitors and tourists with our heritage and unique stories of our food and drink producers.

Many of Wexford food and drink producers have opened their farm gates and kitchen doors for you to tour, taste and have a #TasteWexford experience. From visiting one of Irelands oldest working watermills at Ballyminane Mills which has been milling flour for over 185 years, picking your own Wexford strawberries on Wheelock Fruits Farm while hearing the story why Wexford is known as the soft fruit county of Ireland, touring Regan Organic Farm, one of Ireland’s quirkiest and sustainable farms learning about animal husbandry, to having your own chocolatier moment with single origin chocolate at Bean and Goose at Last Tree Farm while blending flavours from the Wexford countryside.

You can tour Wexford by yourself using our online bookable guides or by booking a day food and heritage tour with our local guide and storyteller, Lorraine O’Dwyer of Gallivanting Tours: gallivantingtours.ie.

You can also have a #TasteWexford experience at one of Wexford’s independent café, restaurant and accommodation providers along with shopping with our great grocers through their food and drink offering: a homegrown breakfast at Archways B&B in Tagoat; a mesmerising experience at Kilmokea Country Manor House and Gardens in Campile; a simple but delicious lunch at The Wilds in Enniscorthy; a superb meal at Table Forty One in Gorey, or some shopping in Full n Plenty Farm Shop in New Ross which supports over 60 small food and drink producers across Wexford.
