The Enniscorthy Halloween Festival is an all-new festival for Halloween lovers young and old. The program will feature family friendly workshops such as Broomstick Making and Halloween Mask Painting on October 26th & 27th.
A Family Fun Zombie Run will take place on Monday 28th Oct where participants of all ages and fitness levels can dress up in their favourite Halloween costume (it doesn’t have to be a Zombie) and complete the short circuit that starts ad finishes at Enniscorthy Castle.
Once you’ve completed the Zombie Run be sure to join us in the castle for an Interactive Trick or Treating Experience. Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc are throwing a Halloween Bash with Count Dracula and friends. There will lots of fun, games and ghoulish family entertainment and if you’re brave enough, you can take on the Tunnel of Fear. Tickets just €5.
The Festival will finish with a Taste Wexford Supper of Fruit, Nuts & Berries at Wilton Castle on Sunday 27th Oct. Guests are invited to dress up and to enjoy traditional, seasonal feast of the final harvest as well as a series of ancient pagan tales.
This is Enniscorthy’s first ever Halloween Festival and having gained a sophisticated global reputation, the event is no longer just a single-day holiday but an entire season. Enniscorthy Halloween Festival is the ideal opportunity to bring the true roots and heritage of Halloween back to Ireland where it all began.
There are also a variety of fringe events taking place across Enniscorthy and surrounds.
