Enniscorthy Rockin’ Food Festival (3rd- 6th August 2018)Contact
Rockin’ Food Festival 2018 takes place on the 2018 August Bank Holiday (3rd – 6th August). Based in the historic, market town of Enniscorthy, don’t let the small size of the town fool you. The festival is an absolute favourite amongst locals and generates a great buzz within the community.
- Free Outdoor Music from some of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s internationally renowned bands and singers plus night time gigs in a range of local venues,
- An impressive Artisan Food and Crafts Market featuring a full street of Wexford’s finest local producers,
- A jam-packed schedule of cookery demonstrations, tasting, classes, food pairings and workshops in our Free Food Marquee as well as great value ticketed food and drink events
- An entire weekend of family fun for all the ages including Ireland’s Ancient East Storytelling on a real castle rooftop, puppet shows, kids cookery classes, water zorbing, selfie scavenger hunts, Medieval shield/pottery making and a mobile farm as well as the usual festival favourites.
New to this year’s festival is our Ferris Wheel which not only grants festival goers the opportunity to snap a breath-taking panoramic view of the entire town but the wheel will also feature a range of exclusive food events such as Nibbles & Bubbles in the Sky.
We also have a functional, Rockin’ Steam Train arriving in the town on Sunday and a Rock ‘n’ Roll Bus on Saturday bringing festival goers into the town.
The festival offers a great opportunity for local producers and farmers to showcase and trade their authentic, Wexford products and dishes. The town truly is alive throughout the weekend as the sound of Rockabilly Music echoes the streets, the smells and aromas of fresh food and confectionary fill the air and the boundless smiles stretched across the faces of festival goers generates a thrilling buzz and feeling of Euphoria.
